Delta Region - Junior Player Transfer Request Form

Welcome

Transfer Policy

A junior player who is no longer playing in USAV sanctioned tournaments, can join another club which is still competing if the below requirements have been met.  Until all these requirements are completed, the player in question is not to be allowed to participate with a different club in any manner.

TRANSFER PROCEDURE

• Junior player must request release from current club, in writing, to their Region.

• Current club must agree to release junior player.

• New club must agree to accept junior player.

• REGION will provide final approval, after verifying agreement of all parties and upon compliance with Transfer Parameters.

• Junior player is not allowed to participate with new club until transfer is approved.

TRANSFER PARAMETERS

1) Transfer Request is made prior to the deadline date of December 1 of the current season. After November 30th, player is committed to the club for the entire USA Volleyball season; which concludes at the end of the Junior National Championships. Note: A change in geographical location of the family due to a change in job, military, scholastic or inner-collegiate status may receive special consideration. Application for a waiver to the Transfer Policy must be made in writing to the region office before the Commissioner will provide any waiver.

2) A player can be reassigned to a different club in the Delta Region if the team the player is currently on disbands. Players from a disbanded team may enroll with another team if the disbanded team or club provides written authorization to the region office releasing the player(s), and the new team provides Delta office with an acceptance letter. A disbanded team may withhold such authorization if the player(s) are not in good standing with the club. Any financial commitments to a club are between the individual and the club. Clubs are private enterprises. If a player on a disbanded team transfers without filing the proper written authorizations, then the player and the new team or club may be sanctioned.

3) No Delta Region junior player transfers will be granted to teams outside the Delta Region.

4) No previous transfer of junior player has occurred during the current season.

5) Junior player is not transferring to a team that has already qualified for the Girls Junior National Championships (any division).

6) Junior player has not been on the official roster for a National Qualifier.
